Perhaps one of the most adorable family photos over Christmas was the one shared by Alyanna Martinez on her Instagram. It showed her family, dad Albert and siblings, Alfonso and Alissa; close family friend Gretchen Barretto with partner Tonyboy Cojuangco and their daughter Dominique; and Alyanna’s better half, photographer Roy Macam and his family, wearing matching pajamas!
“Surprised EVERYONE with matching Christmas pajamas for all-day snuggly at home fun!” Alyanna captioned the photo. Against a backdrop of trees coated with snow, the women wore pajamas with snow flakes print and reindeer hats while the men had on red plaid pajamas and Santa hats.
The occasion the three families were celebrating wasn’t just Christmas. They were all in South Lake Tahoe in California to celebrate Alyanna and Roy’s wedding last December 23. This would be the couple's first Christmas as a married couple. (According to Cosmo.ph, the two first got married in a civil wedding ceremony in San Francisco back in August.)
Alyanna said she had always wanted a white Christmas. And from the snowy location (the location tag on Alissa's Instagram posts points to hotel-resort The Ridge as the wedding venue) to her enchanting look, a bridal gown complete with a white cape and fur-lined headpiece, she got her wish with her dreamy winter wonderland wedding. You know what else it reminds us of? Yup, the movie Frozen, and her sister Alissa refers to it when she captioned her photo with her sister with "Elsa and Anna."
