Life on the island is simple but not dull, and city life can be too much. Andi Eigenmann suspects that daughter Lilo might be overstimulated by toys she's not used to playing with.
The mom of two recently traveled to Manila to celebrate her birthday with her two daughters. It was the first time she saw Ellie, 9, who stayed with her dad Jake Ejercito since the quarantine was imposed last March. Andi noticed, however, that Lilo refuses to take naps.
“Back on the island, it was so much easier to get Lilo to chill out. Now, this girl just won’t take naps anymore!” the mom of two shared on Instagram.
Andi brought out Ate Ellie’s old wooden toys for Lilo to play with while in the city. But it may be all new to her On the island, Lilo plays with “whatever nature supplies us,” Andi shared. It could be an old coconut or a bunch of twigs, or even sand at the beach.

“I don’t believe in showering my kids with so many toys (especially at this age),” Andi added. She admitted she didn’t always think that way.
