Andi Eigenmann quits showbiz to be a full-time mom
The actress announced her decision to leave showbiz in a heated exchange between her and at least two Instagram users based on screen caps by Pep.ph. The comment was made when Andi posted the photo below on her Instagram with the caption "Beaching until further notice." The user called Andi "masungit" after the actress allegedly raised an eyebrow at the netizen's sister who asked to take a photo with the actress. The comment prompted another Instagram user to tell Andi she needed to check her attitude.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Andi fired back. "I don't snub people who acknowledge me. I do, however, politely tell off people who are rude." She said that public figures do not deserve to have their "personal space disrespected," and their "feelings and comfort completely disregarded."
A part of Andi's reply included the following lines: "If I wanted the life I had in the past, I wouldn't have left showbiz. So go figure. But me wanting to be a full-time mom, and to live my life sooo far away from the spotlight -- away from the city, even -- doesn't also result [in] your accusations being anywhere true." The single mom added, "I left because I was not happy. And yes! It will never be the same. But I wouldn't trade this simple life for anything else because I have never been happier."
Andi was last seen in the teleserye drama The Greatest Love, where she played the daughter of a woman who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She's always been sharing on Instagram her mom moments with dauughter Ellie and their travels with and her boyfriend, Emilio Arambulo. (pep.ph)
Vicki Belo: Scarlet is keeping her Belo surnameADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
So you've probably seen the viral videos where Scarlet Snow is seen arguing with dad Hayden Kho, Jr., about her last name. (If not, watch the videos here and here.) She was insistent her last name was to be "Belo only." In one of the videos, you could actually hear Vicki say something about a promise Hayden made to Scarlet Snow. Vicki finally explained what she meant by that promise. "I'm an only child, so there's really nobody to carry my [family] name di ba," the celebrity doctor and beauty mogul said, "So I just changed back to Belo...So I asked him [Hayden] before, can I please please have my Belo baby?" So Scarlet Snow technically won that argument without even trying! She's still Scarlet Snow Belo only! (abs-cbn.com)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

According to some of the comments, the breastfeeding area was comfortable, and the staff was accommodating. New mom Kylie Padilla gets bashed for decision not to marry
After speaking up about the reason why her dad Robin Padilla and fiance Aljur Abrenica are not on speaking terms, the new mom is getting some flak for her decision not to rush into marriage. Yesterday, Kylie posted on Instagram a photo that read "Know your rights" and didn't provide any caption. One Instagram user, however, automatically equated her post with the rights of being a legal wife.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
She commented: "Yup. Know your rights. And I know na di ka pinipilit ni Aljur na its your own decision to not get married or not to rush into marriage. But alas mo na nga ung marriage. Lahat ng babae pangarap maikasal, tapos ikaw may rason na ayaw na ayaw? Di kita magets."
Another user wrote: "Pag kinasal ka, mawawala lahat ng guilt mo and mapapasaya mo pa family mo, pero you had to do it your way," the user said. "Sana pahalagahan mo mga magulang mo, sundin mo sila dahil sila ang totoong nagmamahal sayo."
Kylie has not yet responded, but her fans have begun defending her. "Hindi naman Muslim si Kylie at lalong hindi sya nagpa-convert. Sinabi na nya yan noon pa. Makahusga kayo. Wala kayo pakiaalam. Buhay nila yun at hindi kyo ang bumubuhay sa knila," one user commented. "She has the right to make her own path," another added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
