Two days after giving birth on July 23, 2019 at 1:27 p.m., the new mom of two was on her way home from the hospital. Philmar shared a video on Instagram Story that showed how excited Ellie is to be a big sister.
The video showed Andi with Ellie cradling her baby sister in her arms. “Saan ka punta?” he asked the new mom of two. “Going home with Ate Ellie,” Andi replied. “Uwi na kami!” he added. Ellie looked as excited and was a little tickled when her baby sister moved her legs. She thought the baby was “kicking” her. Cute!ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The dad was already anticipating possible judgment of the photo because the caption read: “Ate Ellie didn’t hold her in the car ride home. She just wanted to hold her for a while before we moved.”ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Andi was hoping for a vaginal birth after C-section (VBAC), but she and her doctor decided on a C-section again to deliver her second baby.
“One day into week 39 of my pregnancy: I came to a decision of going for another C-section operation, in order to bring my second child into this world,” Andi wrote on Instagram. Even if it’s her second time, the C-section wasn't easier or any less scary.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
“Just got back home from the hospital, and we are already missing the comfort of having people around us to help,” the mom of two wrote on Instagram.
“True enough, birth is beautiful no matter how it happens,” she added. “I couldn’t be any more grateful that our baby girl came out healthy and safe. I realize now that it’s what matters most,” she said. She’s thankful for Philmar and Ellie staying by her side through everything, which made it easier not to worry about the operation.
