This month, Tessa Prieto-Valdes and daughter Athena grace Smart Parenting’s cover for the first time. You might already know that Tessa is a multi-talented mom, as she is a columnist, an interior designer, a triathlete, a marathon runner, a yoga enthusiast, and a spokesperson for different causes all at the same time.

We witnessed the special bond between her and five-year-old Athena, her spirited and fun-loving daughter. We also asked Tessa about her must-have items, her thoughts on motherhood and dream destinations for the family.
