Bettinna Carlos, Mikki Eduardo Exchange ‘I Dos’ In Intimate Wedding Ceremony

Bettinna Carlos and her non-showbiz fiancé, Mikki Eduardo, finally tied the knot this Tuesday morning, December 2, 2020.

The actress made the announcement on her Instagram account, where she uploaded a photo of her bridal bouquet. She captioned it simply with, “This is THE DAY that the Lord has made!” She also used the hashtags “#KasalangBekki2020” and “#BeKki”, which is a combination of the names Bettinna and Mikki.

The intimate Christian wedding ceremony was held in a garden with a picturesque view of the Taal Lake.

On his Instagram Stories, Bettinna’s brother, Alison Brandon Carlos, captured some scenes from their wedding.

Bettinna’s father walked the bride toward a makeshift altar. Her mother and her daughter, Gummy, were also present.

At the end of the ceremony, the pastor who wedded Bettinna and Mikki said, “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s my honor to present to you Mr. and Mrs. Mikki Eduardo. You may kiss as long as you want.”

From the videos, you can see that the newlywed couple were all smiles and excited to share their first kiss as husband and wife. They even kissed twice, which prompted the pastor to tease them.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests proceeded to a cabin beside the garden. For their wedding dance, Bettinna and Mikki chose the song “You Make Me Feel Brand New.”

Only close friends and family were invited to the couple’s wedding.

Bettinna and Mikki’s relationship

Bettinna made her relationship with Mikki public last August 17. After a few months, on October 7, reports broke about Mikki’s romantic proposal.

Since then, Bettinna has been open about their relationship, and her happiness upon finding a man whom she considers an “answered prayer.” According to the actress, Mikki has all the traits that she has been looking for in a lifetime partner.

This includes Mikki’s close relationship with God, and a good relationship with her daughter, Gummy.

Vote of approval from their families

The couple’s families are also supportive of their relationship. When Mikki proposed to Bettinna, her parents and Mikki’s mom were present.

Mikki’s family also gave the actress a warm welcome. In the engagement video that Bettinna shared on her YouTube channel, their parents even jokingly told the couple that there would be “no return, no exchange.”

"Welcome to the family," said Nimfa, Mikki’s mom. "The first day I saw you, alam kong magki-click tayo," she adds, while holding back tears. "Walang solian ha! 'Wag mo nang isosoli si Mikki!"
