  • A day and a week after giving birth to her second child, TV host Bianca Gonzalez-Intal gets candid about being a mom of two.

"Right now, I've never been more exhausted, I would admittedly not survive without the help of our girls at home, and I've learned that balancing giving attention between your toddler and newborn is sooo emotionally taxing," Bianca revealed. "Not to mention loss of sleep can make you go crazy!" she added.

"My husband took this picture during her morning sun, wala akong ligo, walang tulog, walang palit," Bianca describes the so-called "fourth trimester," something many moms would rather not share on social media.

The mom of two also credited her Instagram feed for inspiring her to share more about the harsh realities of motherhood on her social media pages. Her "mommy diaries" posts serve as a reminder that every child is different, as is every mom.

Despite everything that is going on now with her life—postpartum recovery, adjusting to the reality of having a newborn and a toddler—Bianca assures mothers that they need not doubt their capacity to love their children.

"You mommies were right when you commented on my past post saying it's like you grow another heart that has overflowing love for your second child, just like your first," the celebrity mom said. "Pwede pala yun?!" Bianca added, amazed.

One of the things the celebrity mom dreaded most when she was still pregnant with her second child was the sleepless nights. Bianca revealed in an interview with Smarparenting.com.ph that she had just gotten back to sleeping eight hours a night when she learned she was expecting again.

In the same interview, Bianca shared that she and husband JC Intal decided to start trying for a second baby after their daughter Lucia had weaned herself from the breast at two years old.

Now that Baby Carmen is here, Bianca is hopeful that breastfeeding will be easier for her, along with other things related to motherhood, since it's her second time. "With a good support system around you and the right things around you to help you, hopefully, number two will be easier," she had said previously.
