  • Camille Prats is looking fit and fab these days, thanks to her commitment to be healthier with her husband, VJ Yambao. But it seems not everyone is pleased with her new look.

On Saturday, June 12, 2021, the mom of three posted photos of herself on her social media accounts, showing off her toned body. The angle and her sleeveless dress especially highlighted her slimmer arms and face.

In the comments section, netizens had mixed reactions about her weight loss. A lot of moms shared that they were inspired by her fitness journey, while others had not-so-nice comments about the actress’ body.

“It’s so hot pero not so thin po sana [because] you look older,” said one netizen.

One even went as far as saying her new look might affect her relationship with her husband.

Despite these comments, many came to Camille’s defense. They pointed out that when the mom of three had put on some weight after giving birth, she was body shamed, but when she started losing the pounds, people still criticized her.

“Happy for you na nareach mo ang ideal body weight mo. I support your fitness goals. It’s your happiness, beautiful mind, great attitude and good health that truly matters,” one netizen said. “Keep it up po!”

“’Pag mataba i-ba-bash ninyo sasabihin losyang. ‘Pag pumayat sasabihin parang addict. We can’t please everybody. People will just say what they want to say [so] just do what you love and what makes you feel good,” advised another.

“[You] are super strong [and] I hope I can do your workouts. Napakalakas mo Camille and super disciplined. Kudos to your hard work! Super love it,” praised one netizen.

“As long as I am healthy and strong, oks na ako dun,” she added.

It was back in April when Camille wowed netizens with her weight loss. In a vlog that she uploaded on her YouTube channel, the mom explained that she and husband VJ worked on becoming physically active for months, before they actually shed some weight.

Camille and VJ’s teamwork was crucial in achieving their fitness goals. “We look after each other, we motivate each other,” the mom said.

Camille explained that choosing to be healthy wasn’t just for her to look and feel good — it was also to keep up with her two active toddlers.
