Celeb Kids Scarlett Kramer, Olivia Reyes Dedicate Uplifting Prayers For FrontlinersDo not underestimate the power of prayer. It's one of humankind's best weapons during this time.by Rachel Perez .
The Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine is officially extended up to April 30, 2020. Everyone is doing what they can do to help, be it by cooking for frontliners, making face masks and shields, donating, or by merely staying home.
Young kids are also helping in their own ways by sending uplifting messages to frontliners and praying for them. Scarlett Kramer and Olivia Reyes both shared theirs recently via their parents' social media accounts.
Scarlett Kramer offered words of faith and hope
Scarlett used a hand-me-down camera from her parents Doug and Chesca Kramer to record a message to frontliners. When the retired basketball player and dad of three checked out his daughter's one-take and unrehearsed video, Doug was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful and wise words from the 8-year-old.
In her video, Scarlett started by acknowledging that doctors are having a hard time because of the global COVID-19 health crisis. "We want to pray for you every night, and the Lord is powerful so he can stop this that easily," she said.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
"We always pray for you, and the Lord will protect you, and the angels are beside you guys, also us," she said. "And the Lord will take care of you, you care for other people," Scarlett continued.
"That's the powerful thing about God. He heals, he protects people and lets other things stop. He will not change the situation, he will change you something," she stressed.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
She ended it with, "We pray for you, and we hope the coronavirus stops because you're having a hard time, like your families and especially the patients."
Doug and Chesca received many praises for Scarlett's message of hope and faith that genuinely came for the heart.
