  • Paano maging maganda kapag mommy ka na? If there were anyone who could answer this question, which one of our readers asked back in May (check out our story about it here), it would be these celeb moms, who appear in Yes! Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars. In their 40s, they show that you can have beauty and self-confidence no matter your age or body type.

    Karla Estrada

Karla Estrada, who reluctantly claimed the title "Queen Mother" bestowed upon her by Kris Aquino, is mom and dad to four kids including Daniel, who appears on the cover of Yes! Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars with love team partner Kathryn Bernardo. The 42-year-old actress and host has had her share of ups and down, but she knew how to choose her battles. "Relax. Mas maraming dapat pagtuonan ng pansin kaysa ma-bad-trip" is advice we can all use.

    Carmina Villarroel
After three decades in the business, one could say Carmina has perfected the art of juggling career and family life. But the ever beautiful mom of teenage twins, Cassy and Mavy, insists that her family is not perfect. "Nag-aaway din kami, may mga arguments din kami. But at the end of the day, pag-ibig pa rin ang umiiral," she said. Like any other mom, Carmina does sometimes get exhausted, but she never gives up on the loves of her life. Manilyn Reynes

Mom to three boys, Manilyn opened up to Smart Parenting about her struggles during her third pregnancy after suffering a miscarriage. "I’m blessed with a very supportive and loving family. Wala na akong mahihiling pang iba. Now, I’m very happy to see my three children growing up to be good and kindhearted people," the 45-year-old singer-actress said, who was named Best Comedy Actress at the 2016 30th PMPC Star Awards for her work on TV.

    Sylvia Sanchez
The 46-year-old bagged the Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series award at the 15th Gawad Tanglaw Awards for her role as The Greatest Love's matriarch suffering from Alzheimer's. It has opened new doors -- she is now a beauty ambassador for Beautederm, which inspired her to get fit. "Di ba, pag fit ka talga, pag nagdyi-gym ka, pati 'yong skin mo nagiging fresh, nagiging bata," she told Yes! She has two kids, Arjo and Ria Atayde, age 26 and 24, respectively, and both of them are now in showbiz. Janice de Belen

The multi-award winning actress and single mom of five started acting when she was just 9 years old. Janice says her secret to staying relevant is having the right attitude. As a mom and entrepreneur, she knows too well how important it is to respect other people's time. The 48-year-old takes advantage of opportunities to be more adventurous in her acting craft and in her cooking, a passion that she has turned into a business. Janice still has one of the most beautiful faces. It's in the genes, perhaps, as her daughter, Inah de Belen, is also featured on this year's list.

    Eula Valdez
Best known for her role as Amor Powers in the original Pangako Sa'Yo run, Eula has been a consistent face in local teleseryes. The 48-year-old actress is also a mom to son Miguel and tween daughter Juliana. Eula admitted to Pep.ph in 2013 that she's proud to still look beautiful at her age, but she sometimes gets irked when people mistake her son Miguel to be her boyfriend to the point that she made matching shirts that read, "She's my mom," and "He's my son." See her gorgeous photo in the special issue of Yes!

Check out the rest of the moms in Yes! Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2017 special issue is now available in newsstands, bookstores, and supermarkets nationwide. The digital edition will be out soon via the Yes! App on Apple Newsstand, Buqo, Zinio, and Magzter.
