On October 4, 2021, the Department of Health (DOH) listed down the 11 comorbidities that will qualify those ages 12-17 for the government's pilot vaccination program for minors.
The list came from the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines (PIDSP), according to DOH Usec. Maria Rosario Vergeire.
The said age group will now be part of the Priority Group A3. Children with the following comorbidities are among the first ones to get vaccinated in their age group:
According to vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr., at least six hospitals will be used for the pilot COVID-19 vaccination for children.
