Cristine Reyes was a special guest on Tonight With Boy Abunda last week where she promoted her new film Untrue, co-starring Xian Liam. The conversation turned serious when host Boy Abunda asked the Kapamilya star to elaborate on Untrue's theme, which is "not all love is true."
Cristine agreed with the message and talked about a lying partner in context of the film. Dahil ang totoong taong nagmamahal dapat tapat ka," she said.
Boy then asked her if she's experienced something similar to the film's theme in her own relationships. Cristine said, "Marami na akong na-encounter na nagsinungaling. Iba't ibang rason, Tito Boy."

Does she consider it betrayal, though? "Yes. Mahirap pagkatiwalaan ang taong nagsisinungaling," she said before shedding a few tears.
Cristine went on to talk about having to keep a brave face in front of her four-year-old daughter Amarah. "Kailangan ako makita ni Amarah…Kailangan meron siyang someone na will stand for her. And I wanna be that person na alam niya na kaya siyang protektahan."

With all the hardships she is seemingly going through, Cristine keeps her faith intact: "Ayokong kuwestiyunin ang Diyos.
