Dimples Romana dedicates award to moms
The actress dedicated her award to Pinoys moms when she accepted her award for "Teleserye Best Supporting Actress of the Year" at The Pep List Year 4 awarding ceremony. The mom of two shared that her role as Amanda in The Greatest Love changed her perspective on motherhood. "For anything, it really made my relationship with my mom even richer, and I was more connected with my family especially sa aking mama," Dimples said. "Also to share with the other moms out there to go out and chase your dreams. Even when you're already a mom, that doesn't mean that your world has to stop. It only means that you get more inspires because there are more people who are counting on you," Dimples stressed. She also shared the recognition with her co-actors, directors, and shoot crew. WATCH: Scarlet Snow Belo insists she still not a KhoADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Poor dad Hayden. He couldn't convince his daughter (yet) to accept her full name is now Scarlet Snow Belo Kho. But we certainly had fun watching the dad-and-daughter exchange especially when Scarlet's brows furrowed in annoyance with her dad.
Hayden: Are you my daughter?
Hayden: What's my name?
Scarlet: Hayden Kho.
Hayden: How about mommy?
Scarlet: Mommy ko. (Dr. Vicki Belo is heard laughing in the background)
Hayden: How about you [Scarlet]? (mom Vicki is heard following up on Scarlet's thread and said, "Anak ko; you're my 'anak ko.'")
Scarlet: No, I'm Scarlet Snow Belo only.
Hayden: If I'm Kho, and Mommy's Kho, then you're also Kho.
Scarlet: No, I'm not.
Oh, and remember when the little girl teased the family honeymoon in Italy wasn't the last of the #aKHOandmyBELOved wedding celebrations. It turns out that the finale of the wedding of the year was an early Christmas party with Right Start Foundation.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Hayden, Scarlet and I want to share our love and happiness not just with our family and friends but also with children who are longing to have a family. We want them to feel that a home isn't only found inside the house. When a person makes you feel loved, you have found a home," Dr. Vicki wrote on Instagram.

The couple said their vows in a civil ceremony weeks before the New Year of 2016. They also welcomed their first child, daughter Stellar, last April. Now, Chynna and Kean seemed to be ready to walk the aisle for their church wedding with their recent prenup photos shared on Instagram. The art-themed photo shoot was taken by Nice Print Photography with styling by Rabbit Hole Creatives.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The couple picked the hashtag #tildeathwedoart. Just like their civil ceremony and Chynna's pregnancy, the very private couple has not revealed any details about their upcoming church wedding. (abs-cbn.com)
Pregnancy woes will not dampen Karen Delos Reyes's spirit
Forget earth goddess maternity themes. The actress who starred in a popular McDonald's commercial took a different route for her maternity photo shoot and did an "astig" pose instead. "Hot flushes, vertigo, nosebleeds," the soon-to-be mom wrote as a caption for the photos. Karen shared it's been an emotional pregnancy that at one point she cried "because McDonald's could not deliver spaghetti." She was also experiencing leg cramps at 4 a.m and recently figured in a fender bender car accident. She still doesn't have househelp, but her spirit is strong. "We can do it baby!!!" she wrote together with a verse from the Bible, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The actress also had a baby shower thrown in her honor and her soon-to-arrive baby. It was organized by her friends Lougee and Ali Alejandro of the band Mojofly and held at The Nova Gallery Manila. (pep.ph)
Pampers to correct misinformation about baby kicksADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
A Pampers spokesperson said the company is already in the process of removing a line on their United Kingdom website that told women who are 31 weeks pregnant not to worry if their unborn babies become less active. It continued to say that "less-frequent movement now means [your baby’s] right on track." This was misguided advice, and Elizabeth Hutton, CEO of pregnancy and stillbirth charity, Kicks Count, alerted Pampers UK. The organization said babies in the womb should not be less active as the pregnancy progresses. While there is no set number of kicks to expect from an unborn baby, a mother should get familiar with how her baby moves and report any changes to their doctor. In the statement, Pampers UK said, "We apologize for any confusion this might have caused. If you notice any changes in the movement of your baby, please do call your midwife so they can provide guidance and reassurance." (Read more about baby kicks here.)
