Now A Girl Dad, Drew Arellano Recruits Sons Primo and Leon To Protect Alana!

It was a surprise for both Iya Villania and Drew Arellano that they're now parents to a little baby girl. Iya swore she always thought Baby Alana Lauren was going to be a boy, but God had other plans. 

It might be fitting that it was Drew who posted his daughter's photo first on Instagram, on July 18, after Iya gave birth to their third child. It marks his entry to being a girl dad.

You might notice the little girl is always in blue, a result of using hand-me-downs from her brothers. Iya got excited to play dress-up once she looked at the clothes gifted to Alana by friends. 

"Masyadong maikli 'yan ha," Drew quipped. It may be a teaser of what's to come if Alana as a teenager leans towards wearing short bottoms.

When the Arellano brothers met their baby sister, Primo and Leon had mixed reactions. 

"Si Primo parang mas aware siya tapos siya excited. Sobra siyang excited na makita 'yung kapatid niya even if ang gusto niya sana talaga e baby brother," the new mom of three told 24 Oras. On Instagram Stories, he was seen playing "Bato, bato, pick" with Alana.

Leon, on the other hand, was more cautious. "Yung tingin [ni Leon] parang, 'Ano 'yan?' at saka 'Sino 'yan?' Medyo natakot siyang lumapit tapos medyo umiyak siya nang konti," Iya shared. She had to remind Leon to always be gentle with his baby sister, and he's learning.

"Arellano brothers ready to protect the princess!" Drew wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, July 22. It was accompanied by photos of Primo and Leon wearing a Japanese band on their head. It made them look like they're ready to fight. 

Drew's Instragam now has a new face, and that's of his little princess. But like with his sons, the dad of three is injecting his kwela self. For instance, reacting to her brothers' photos, Alana would do a facepalm, according to her dad.
