Drew Arellano is loving life as a family man 

The host seems to have fallen in love all over again for wife Iya Villania on how she's handling motherhood. "It’s not very easy for the mothers, and I’m sure all the mothers here, they know what I’m talking about. And for the husbands out there or fathers, iisipan niyo na, 'Wow, it's different.' Todo salute para sa mga mothers out there!" Drew told Pep.ph. Iya and Drew were in a relationship for 10 years before they tied the knot and waited a few years before trying for a baby. With Primo, their dynamics have also changed but in a good way. "Kaya gusto ko lang i-highlight lang talaga ang paghihirap ng aking asawa, day in and day out, because nagbago ang buhay pero mas kinikilig ako kapag tinitignan ko siya. Solid!" Drew exclaimed, adding that all the sleepless nights have been worth it when they see Primo smile.

Iya has the same thoughts. "Lumala ang pagmamahal namin sa isa’t-isa. Of course, life became more demanding in terms of needs because I’m being needed as a mother to my kid," she said. "I’m also needed as a wife, and I need myself. I need to be able to work on myself. Hindi ako puwede napabaya. So a lot has changed, but I have to say that life has become more fulfilling, mas enjoyable because of Primo," Iya shared. (pep.ph)


Gabby Eigenmann's advice to sister Andi and ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito
The Kapuso actor says he understands why Jake's decision to file for joint custody of Ellie, his niece and daughter of sister Andi. "Because they don't talk, may mga miscommunication...hindi nagtutugma ang schedules," Gabby shared in an interview with Pep.ph. "It was hard for both parties, e. Kasi siyempre, ang dating sa kabila (Jake’s party), ayaw pumayag. Ang dating sa kabila (Andi’s party), hindi naman consistent na hinihiram. Marami kasing tinatawiran 'yan. Maraming bini-bridge 'yan... Nakakapagod din sa taong nasa gitna," he explained. The dad of four says he is okay with legalizing the custody for both Andi and Jake. “Para once and for all, hindi na magkaroon ng gulo," he added.

Gabby has always been a father figure to Ellie, and Jake has always been close to the Eigenmanns. He admitted that he had always offered his two cents on the matter, but ultimately, the decision would be Andi and Jake's when it comes to their daughter. "Sana dumating sa point na they'll realize na, 'Hey, enough is enough. I mean, let's just be good parents.' Kahit hindi sila magkasundo sa maraming bagay, pero kapag nilagay na nila si Ellie sa gitna, yung anak nila sa gitna, iisa lang dapat ang focus nila: to make her better, happy child. In a birthday message to her mini-me, Joy shared how her daughter makes everyone in the whole family smile every day. "Amari, our love, I've said this a million times before and I will never get tired of telling this again and again: You are the answer to our prayer, and your life is God's reminder to us of HIS great love, faithfulness and goodness," she wrote. Dad Gian, on the other hand, kept his message to his "daddy's girl" short and sweet: "Happy 1st Birthday my baby, Amari! I praise and thank the Lord for you, anak! I love you so much, my baby girl!" Mannequins show support for normalizing breastfeeding

Bogota, Colombia's largest shopping mall, Centro Mayor, has a unique way to help normalize breastfeeding. Last month, the mall unveiled breastfeeding mannequins (yes, you read that right!) "as part of the initiative to change attitudes about breastfeeding in public." Amigos de la Lactancia (Friends of Breastfeeding), a movement to support mothers who have been shamed for breastfeeding in public, provided the idea of mannequins to let people know nursing is a normal part of everyday life and not obscene. Well, this first full trailer of The Emoji Movie gives us a clearer picture of the world inside a smartphone and emojis. The film follows Gene (T.J. Miller), a "meh" emoji who has more than one emotion, a big no-no in the emoji world apparently. When he was sent out to do his meh face, he panicked, made the wrong face, and became an outcast. Gene together with his best friend Hi-5 (voice by James Corden) and code-breaker emoji (voice by Anna Faris) are on a mission to change how he is coded to be able to be himself freely.
