On Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020, Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff shared a new photo of their daughter, Dahlia Amelié, on their Instagram accounts.
“Happy Easter from our little bunny and blessing,” Anne wrote as a caption. The newborn's photo shows the baby girl peacefully sleeping on her tummy in a basket.
According to the new mama, she’s the creative director of her daughter's newborn photo shoot. Anne also picked her daughter’s outfit as her stylist. New dad Erwan also stepped up, arranging the flowers in the basket and as the photographer.
“Embracing my new role as a full-time dad/florist/baby photographer,” Erwan wrote in his caption. He previously shared a video montage of his new favorite subject, with close-up shots of Dahlia Amelié's hands and feet on Instagram Stories.
But he's not the only one capturing candid moments. Last April 7, 2020, Anne shared a photo of the dad and daughter having a sweet moment on a couch by their window. It feels like an updated version of their first photo, with Erwan cradling Dahlia Amelié on the hospital couch. Look how Dahlia has grown!
“Will never get tired of this view,” Anne wrote as a caption. Awww.
Since Anne gave birth on March 2, 2020, in Melbourne, Australia, the family of three has been staying home. Erwan has been thankful for the opportunity of being a full-time dad since. He also said Anne was doing an awesome job at motherhood.
Even when working on videos for work, the new dad had started to include his new role as a father. Watch this video Erwan shot and edited — and with the special participation of his daughter!
“It’s been amazing to be a full-time dad, which is something I never thought I’d be able to experience, just being at home every day,” Erwan said.
