Fashion Stylist Sets Up a Nursery In Her Office for her EmployeesImagine the instant pick-me-up when you get to hug and cuddle with your baby during the office lunch break
American fashion stylist and mom Rachel Zoe has done something incredible for her employees – she set up a child-care facility in the office.
Mom to two boys, Skyler who is 4 years old and Kaius who is 16 months old, Rachel Zoe knows the struggles of trying to be the best parent possible while also working at a full-time job. Especially because she’s built her company from the ground up with her family alongside her.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to grow my company from just few people to more than 40 while having my kids (and my husband) by my side, and so I knew I had to do everything in my power to give my staff that same luxury,” she said on a post entitled “Why Opening an Office Nursery Was Rachel Zoe’s Best Business Decision Ever” in her blog The Zoe Report.
“I wanted to create an environment where these new moms wouldn’t have to make a choice between career and motherhood,” read the post. Here, she’s also pointing to five of her staffers who became first-time moms in 2014 which led to her making up her mind about setting up the nursery in her West Hollywood Office.

Zoe ends her post with a bit of advice for working moms everywhere.
“Never apologize for being dedicated to your kids and challenge those around you to not only acknowledge, but celebrate your ability to be a mother and an asset in the workplace.”
“If there is one thing I now absolutely know to be true it's that we are all stronger together — babies and all.”ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
