Ice Seguerra marked his 35 years in the showbiz industry with a concert on October 15 entitled Becoming Ice. One of the special guests who shared the stage with him was none other than Vic Sotto, who has had a long-standing relationship with Ice since he began his career in the Eat Bulaga segment "Little Miss Philippines" in the 80s.
Pauleen, who was present during Ice's concert, shared a video post on October 16 that showed her husband Vic as he took the stage with Ice. Vic made a reference to when Ice would sit on Vic's lap when he was still a child, and said, "May tanong ako, 'pag kumanta ba tayo kakandungin kita?" Ice jokingly responded, "Huwag na, baka mabali tuhod mo e."
Pauleen wrote in her post that the moment between Vic and Ice made her cry and recounted how she watched Vic and Ice's tandem as she was growing up. She wrote, "Growing up, I watched you and Vic be a tandem on screen but what people don't know is the relationship you have when no one is watching. Sabi mo nga last night, 'Father and son.'"
"As you know, Vic isn't the most ma-PR person in the world and that makes you more special 'cos I see how he values you and treats you like his own," Pauleen wrote. "He loves you so much and I am blessed to witness it."
Pauleen also recounted a question Vic asked her as to how she became close with Ice. "To be honest, 'di ko alam kung papano sasagutin," Pauleen shared. "All I could say was, 'I honestly do not remember, basta ang alam ko, suplado 'yan but I felt that he liked me and na-appreciate ko 'yun kaya vinalue ko yung relationship." Pauleen said that Vic even joked, "Baka type ka!"

Addressing Ice, Pauleen added, "Kidding aside, watching you pour out your heart and soul last night made me realize what a bigger star you are. On stage and off stage. Kung magmahal ka, kahit tao man 'yan o craft o ano man, you give your all. Kaya we are so blessed to have you in our life, @iceseguerra. Congratulations, iba ka!"
In a previous interview with Pia Arcangel, Ice said that his relationship with Vic is more of father-and-child. He said, "Dumating na kami sa point na 'di ba, normally, kapag Saturdays [and] Sundays, nasa kanya ang kids niya. Nakikisama ako doon sa mga bata. Nakikitulog din ako as a kid niya."
When Ice celebrated his 39th birthday last month with a 40-minute set with Vic, Tito Sotto, and Joey De Leon on Eat Bulaga, Vic said, "Bukod sa ikaw ang [original] na anak ko sa mga pelikula ko, isa ka sa favorite kong ka-duet. Simula 1987, nagja-jamming na tayo."
