  • There are a lot of adjectives to describe good fathers: responsible, fun, supportive, reliable, loving, selfless. For their wives, good dads make raising children a lot easier and enjoyable, even. For all the things they do for us, sometimes words are not enough.

And because photos are worth a thousand words, we can’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy inside just looking at these Instagram posts on Father’s Day by our favorite local celebrities, to tell the men in their lives — their husbands and/or their fathers — how much they matter. Take a look:

Marian Rivera greeted husband Dingdong Dantes with a portrait of them with their dreamy son Ziggy, now two months old.

First-time mom Sitti poked fun at husband Joey Ramirez, who got a “special” gift from their 7-month-old daughter Lilibubs on Father’s Day: a soiled diaper.

Ageless mom Lucy Torres once again captures a perfect moment into words with an old photo of her young Juliana and husband Richard Gomez. She wrote, “You have him to thank for all the fun you had playing in the rain, climbing up the roof, rolling in the mud, skipping steps down the staircase, going up or down the escalator the opposite way, spooning butter and eating it like ice cream, wrestling, throwing a punch.”

Known to be her daddy’s girl, Lucy didn’t forget to post a message of appreciation for her father Manuel.
