Global Art announces call for participants to the 2nd National Art CompetitionGlobal Art Philippines, an international Creative Art Program that develops and trains children’s creativity and self-expression, is calling on young, budding artists to join the 2nd National Art Competition.
The competition’s objective is to celebrate and recognize the artistic talent of promising Filipino artists. Global Art’s 2nd National Art Competition will be held on November 7, 2010, from 9:30am to 3:00pm at the Bahay ng Alumni, University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
The theme for this year’s competition is “One World”, and both Global Art students and non-students aged 4 to 16 are invited to enter and put their imagination, coloring and drawing skills to the test. Participants will be divided into three groups, according to age. Winning entries for each category will take home a cash prize of P3,000, a trophy and gift certificates from Global Art.
Interested parents must submit an accomplished Entry Slip, which can be acquired from any Global Art branch or accredited schools for non-students, along with an entry fee of P600.00, inclusive of t-shirt to be worn during the national competition.
