LOOK: Diana Zubiri flaunts sexy bikini body 8 months after giving birth!
One of the country's sexiest women proved that it's possible to get back into shape after pregnancy -- a bikini-ready body, at that! "Mahangin sa labas ng @crimsonfilinvestcity hotel," she wrote matter-of-factly in her caption for a photo of herself in a bikini on the pool deck of the hotel. Well, it was windy, alright!.)
In February, the mom of two didn't seem to be affected at all by comments made about her post-pregnancy weight in a teaser for GMA's Encantadia. She is set to return to the fantaserye, and the teaser was filmed just a few months after giving birth to daughter Aliyah Rose. "Noong una, parang putok-putok yung costume, pero hindi naman yung maraming kita. May nag-comment nga before, kasi yung teaser, may nagsabi, 'Ang taba!' Di ba pinapahulaan kung sino si Lila Sari [her character]. May nagsabi, 'Si Diana iyan kasi mataba, kapapanganak pa lang.' At least, may excuse ako, di ba?" she shared in an interview with Pep.ph. Now, eight months after, she can again rock a bikini like before. (gmanetwork.com)

At 41 years old, she graced the cover of men's magazine FHM Philippines for the second time for their March 2017 issue. Way to go, Ina! (gmanetwork.com)
LOOK: Toy store has no attendant; relies on customers' honesty for paymentsADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCan a lowly sari-sari store teach kids good values like honesty? At Camp Crame in Quezon City, it is what they hope to accomplish with the "Honesty Toy Store," located at the entrance of the Children Road Safety Park near the EDSA Gate. The store offers toys priced as low as P10 to P30, but there is no store attendant to help kids with their transactions. Customers would have to place the payment for the toys in a transparent container and get their own change from the same box. “The main intention of our Honesty Toy Store is to teach children the value of honesty even if no one is watching,” said Chief Supt. Gilbert Cruz, director of the PNP Police Community Relations Group. The concept is not new (there's a coffee shop in Batanes that uses the same principle), but this may be the first one that caters to kids. (philstar.com)
QC Human Milk Bank urges nursing moms to donate breast milk
The Quezon City Human Milk Bank (QCHMB) is calling for healthy, lactating mothers to give breast milk for the benefit of babies who need them the most in city-owned hospitals. "Alam naman natin na ang breast milk can save lives. Dagdagan nang dagdagan ang donation nating milk sa Quezon City General Hospital kasi 'yun ang ginagamit ng mga batang may low birth weight talaga," QCHD head Dr. Verdades Peña-Linga said in a statement. "It can decrease neonatal mortality. So, ang ayaw nating mangyari sa Quezon City ay mamamatayan tayo ng mga babies dahil sa kakulangan ng nutrisyon, especially human milk," she added. Since its opening in 2015, the QCHMB has received 56,304 milliliters of breast milk donated by 629 mothers through a series of milk-letting activities in different towns. (gmanetwork.com)
Lightning McQueen set to define his legacy in another Cars 3 trailerADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWDisney Pixar just released another trailer for the third installment of the Cars movie franchise -- and it's filled with motivational lines that can get anyone pumped up to watch. Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) is feeling the effects of his age in Cars 3. Although he insists he's still far from retiring from professional racing, the former champion faces an uphill battle when he goes wheel-to-wheel with the young upcoming race superstar Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer). McQueen also needs to swallow his pride and heed the advice of a hip young trainer (Cristela Alonzo) to keep up. He is set to define his legacy, and whether or not this would be the last time we're going to see him race, it looks like he's going to give it his all. Cars 3 hits theaters on June 16. (ew.com)
