With everything that's happening around the world, social media has been both a means to help and a distraction. Sadly, there are still those who can't help but judge, such as one netizen who body-shamed mom and former actress Iwa Moto.
The former Star Struck runner-up clapped back at a netizen who commented on her weight. It was on a video of Iwa and her daughter, Mimi, dancing the "banana chacha" by K-po group Momoland.
"Yes, I am fat. But is it really necessary to body-shame me?" Iwa wrote in the comments. "Kesa taba ko ang pagdiskitahan niyo, find something productive to do rather than stalking someone else's Instagram," she stressed.
Iwa opted to post the video despite everything else to show how she and her daughter (with partner Pampi Lacson, Jodi Sta. Maria's ex-husband) bond. It was Mimi who taught her the dance steps, and she was so happy her mom learned them.

She also posted a selfie on Instagram stories with the caption, "Mamatay kayo sa inggit sa taba ko," and asked trolls to just unfollow her.
Her condition prevents Iwa from controlling her emotions. Iwa also has trouble sleeping and waking up because of it. But she's fighting and surviving every day by taking her meds. The medications, however, prevent her from losing weight even if she tried really hard.
Iwa doesn't wish her condition on anyone else, even individuals who are mad at her and body-shame her. "Having mental health issues is hard, especially with the stigma. But it's okay. I have accepted it, and I am okay with it," Iwa wrote on Instagram back in February.
"I am learning to live with it, but at the same time doing my best not to be defined by my illness. I am striving to become a better version of me every day. I am a warrior, she shared.
