Jennylyn Mercado And Dennis Trillo Got Married In Matching Outfits

Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have tied the knot in a simple civil wedding held November 15, 2021. According to a Pep.ph report, the wedding took place at actress Kathryn Bernardo's studio in Quezon City.

Details from the very intimate and private wedding have yet to be revealed by the celebrity couple. Fans only got a glimpse of the ceremony thanks to a photo from the event first uploaded on Jennylyn's official Facebook page. It was deleted immediately but fans were quick to save a copy of the picture, which has since circulated online. The photograph shows Jennylyn and Dennis standing in front of their wedding officiant.

Jennylyn was a clear standout in her bridal look that did not involve a long trail or intricate lace design on a dress. Instead, the actress chose an outfit that matched the groom and went for an all-white pantsuit.

Jennylyn and Dennis went public with their engagement last October 29, 2021, but the actual proposal happened on October 8. In the same announcement, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first baby.

In a previous interview, Dennis said he intended to put up a simple proposal for Jennylyn since he wanted to be practical. This may be the same route the couple went for when they planned for the simple civil wedding.

"Hindi masyado magarbo kasi sa panahon ngayon dapat maging practical... simple pero heartfelt," Dennis said about his proposal in a previous interview.

Since then, the Kapuso celebrities have been opening up about their pregnancy journey through a series of vlogs on their YouTube channel — from going through the process of surrogacy abroad to finding out Jennylyn is having a natural pregnancy.

Both Jennylyn and Dennis have sons from their previous relationships — Alex Jazz and Calix Andreas, respectively. With the wedding and the actress' pregnancy, Jennylyn and Dennis are now a family of five.
