John Prats Has 'So Much Respect' for Wife Isabel After Second Child's BirthIn the past, he also encouraged all dads-to-be to go through the birth experience with their pregnant partners.by Rachel Perez .
Giving birth is a herculean task, be it natural or via cesarean section (CS). While moms know this for a fact, men are usually clueless about labor and childbirth, which is the reason for all of these dads' sablay moments!
It's safe to say that actor and event producer John Prats is a more "enlightened" dad than most. He posted on Instagram a short but sweet (and pretty accurate) description of what giving birth is like, based on his observation. His wife, Isabel Oli, had recently just given birth to their second baby, a son they named Daniel Freedom.
"Grabe ang paghihirap mo wifey, pero sulit ang lahat," John wrote as a caption for a photo of the moment they welcomed Freedom into this world. Isabel was almost in tears. John, holding a cup of water, planted a kiss on her forehead as Daniel Freedom was placed on her chest.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
"Hindi madaling manganak, kaya pag nakita nyo ang hirap ng mga asawa nyo habang nanganganak, sobra ang pagmamahal at respeto na ibibigay nyo sa kanila," John stressed. "I Love you @isabeloliprats. So much respect to all the moms in the world!" he added.
The celebrity daddy also thanked everyone who took care of his wife and newborn, as well as their family, friends, and followers who prayed for their safety.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
This isn't the first time the multi-talented artis gave a salute to women's strength during childbirth. When Isabel gave birth to their firstborn Lilly Feather, now 2 years old, he said almost the exact same thing about Isabel and the whole birthing experience.
"I respect and love my wife but 100 times more ngayon," John said in a 2016 interview with Smartparenting.com.ph. John even encouraged all husbands to share the birthing experience with their wives to help them appreciate their partners even more.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

During Feather's birth, John shared that he had mixed emotions. He was excited to meet his daughter, but it was also difficult for him to see Isabel in pain. Finally, after welcoming their first baby, John described it as euphoric.
"Parang a different level of being in love sa asawa mo," he described. "Kahit mag-away kayo, balikan mo lang 'yung moment na 'yun, parang 'Aawww.' Lalambot talaga ung puso mo e," John said.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
