"We were exposed to COVID-19 so we had to quarantine," Juancho shared. "We really devoted that time to think about [our] next steps."
"I sat him down and I said, 'We should talk.' and I said 'Love, ready na ako. We can start to try for a baby na,'" Joyce said. Juancho's face lit up, according to Joyce.
The two said the pandemic gave them the time to focus on each other. "I really enjoyed our first year of marriage," Juancho said.
In between their storytelling, Joyce allowed her fans a glimpse of the moment she found out she was pregnant. She also shared how their first checkup went. "When we finally saw that it had a heartbeat, that's when I started crying," Joyce said.

"I haven't met you yet, but right now, as we're writing this letter, I feel emotional already and honored to bring a soul to this world," she said in a letter the couple wrote for their little one.
"You will be the funniest, the smartest, and wittiest person in the world, at least for us," she continued. "Not to mention the cutest and the best looking. No need to thank Dada, 'yan na 'yung unang pamana namin sa'yo."
"But kidding aside, thank you for existing, you don't know how much you've changed our lives," Juancho read.
