Julia Roberts Nailed The Pitch for These Pleasure Toys
  • During the segment "Pitch Please" on The Ellen Show, actress Julia Roberts tried her hand on selling the audience a product. Here's the catch: she had to make her sales pitch without knowing the item for sale!

The Pretty Woman star, however, aced her pitch. “I think everyone should have one of these. It is versatile. It is hypoallergenic. It comes in a variety of sizes... And Mother’s Day is around the corner," the mom of three said as the audience laughed. What is she selling blind? A set of sex toys you'd probably find in 50 Shades of Grey's Red Room!

When host Ellen DeGeneres prodded for more details, she said she owns not just one or two but seven! How does it make her feel when she wears the product? "Really empowered and just ready for any kind of challenge," she answered. Watch the whole clip below.

Julia was at The Ellen Show to promote her upcoming movie Mother's Day, which tells the intertwining stories of mothers, daughters, and a Mr. Mom. Aside from Julia, the movie also features Jennifer Aniston who plays a recently-divorced mom; Kate Hudson who plays a reluctant daughter; Jason Sudeikis, a widower trying to relate to his daughters; and Britt Robinson as Kristin who've never met her mom.

Director Gary Marshall, the same director behind the rom-coms Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries, New Year’s Eve, and Valentine’s Day, wanted to explore the joys and challenges of motherhood today. "I think the hardest job in the world is a mother raising a teenager these days, it’s just tough...but I think it’s about time to really celebrate it,” he said.

You can catch Mother’s Day starting May 4 in cinemas, released here by OctoArts Films International. Check out the trailer below:
