“'Yung disiplinang ginawa ni Wynwyn, kahanga-hanga ho. Parang hindi ko makayanan eh. Actually, minsan naaawa nga ako sa kanya kasi nagdiyeta, nag-exercise, nagpa-practice. [Pero] ayaw daw niyang mapahiya, at sabihing mali ang pagkakapili sa kanya," he explained during an interview with DZMM.

IUD for birth control protects against cervical cancer, study shows
Researchers at the University of Southern California (USC) found in a study involving more than 12,000 women worldwide that those who use the intrauterine device (IUD) to plan their family lower their chances of getting cervical cancer by one-third. Cervical cancer is the third most common cancer among women worldwide.
Those involved in the study theorized that the device stimulates an immune response that wards off cancer-causing infections. They also noted that it could be because pre-cancerous cells are scraped off when the IUD is removed from the body, preventing them from multiplying and growing.
"The possibility that a woman could experience some help with cancer control at the same time she is making contraception decisions could potentially be very, very impactful," said Victoria Cortessis, associate professor of clinical preventive medicine at the Keck School of Medicine in USC.
