Kaye Abad's third baby shower turns into a reunion with 'Two Wives' cast 

The soon-to-be mom had another baby shower recently, this time a more intimate one, held at The Grove Rockwell in Pasig City. It feels more like a reunion of sorts for Kaye, Paul Jake, and their barkada from the now-defunct ABS-CBN teleserye "Two Wives," which the couple starred in together. Present at the gathering were Patrick Garcia with his preggo wife Nikka and their kids, Jason Abalos, Regine Angeles with husband Van Leano and son Viktor Alleso, Peter Serrano, and KitKat. "A lot of catching up with these bunch," Paul Jake wrote on Instagram. The other celebrity friends who attended were John Prats, Isabel Oli, and Nikki Valdez. 

Kaye and Nikka, who have been in touch since they both got pregnant, also posed for a photo. "So so excited to be [on] this journey with you Mare ko! Can't believe we will be giving birth on the same month pa!" Nikka wrote. It was also revealed during the baby shower that Kaye and Paul Jake's soon-to-arrive baby boy will be named Joaquin. 

Preggo Saab Magalona gets her hair colored--and yes, it's safe!

The pregnant-with-twins singer-blogger recently colored her hair from blonde to purple-brown, and before anyone could preggo-shame her, she already put a disclaimer in the caption. "Of course, I asked my doctor before getting my hair colored, and as long as I follow his directions, I know I’m good," the soon-to-be first-time mom wrote. 

Saab encourages fellow expectant women to make it a habit to ask their doctor whenever they're unsure because every pregnancy is different. For example, light exercises are typically okay for pregnant women, but Saab's doctor advised her not to work out until after she gives birth to avoid complications because she's having twins. "There are a LOT of myths abt pregnancy and what you can and can’t do. It can be really scary, but if you do more research and if things are done in moderation, you and your babies should be alright, she added. 

Valerie "Bangs" Garcia wants to give birth already!

Bangs is currently in her 39th month of pregnancy, and she's officially due to give birth on December 6, but the soon-to-be mom is already very eager to meet her baby! "I just turned 39 weeks pregnant today, November 28, and yet I still managed to go stroll around different spots in #London yesterday with my husband @lloydiboi24 from 11 a.m. 'til 7 p.m. Lol! So proud of myself," she wrote as a caption on Instagram. "Helping my baby to come out now. We are ready to meet our little Amelia Birchmore anytime soon! Please don’t get too comfortable inside my tummy coz Mummy’s getting too heavy now baby," Bangs added.

"Fell in love with this and thought to share," the Tony Award winner captioned a drawing done by her 11-year-old daughter Nicole Chien, who is also currently cast as Alice in Matilda The Musical, her first onstage performance. As it turns out, Nic's talent does not only involve theater. She's also pretty great at sketching and drawing:

Nicole made a sketch of her dad Rob Chien's grandparents which was placed in her great grandmother's casket when she passed away in August. The next one is her drawing of Youtuber Tiffy Quake, of whom, according to Lea, Nic is a "huuuuuge fan." We hope to see more of Nic's sketches!

Ayen and Franco Laurel welcome fifth child baby Lucia

The couple couldn't be happier and prouder as they welcomed their newborn child on November 27. Ayen, 46, gave birth via C-Section at the Makati Medical Center to a bouncing baby girl, whom she and husband Franco named Maria Lucia Ilena. Baby Lucia joins her older siblings Mariella and Hasan (Ayen's kids from her previous partner), Angie, 15, and Sofia, 3. In a previous interview, Franco explained why they chose the name, Lucia. "Lucia means graceful light so being the youngest in the family, she will bring so much light and joy in our home, so that's why we chose the name Lucia," he said. Congratulations! (pep.ph)
