'Most Unique Gender Reveal': Kryz Uy And Slater Young Are Having Another Baby Boy!

Youtube content creators Kryz Uy and Slater Young just revealed that they are expecting another baby boy. That's two boys for the Sky Fam now!

Kryz shared the events from the gender reveal party on her latest Youtube vlog. The 32-year-old vlogger said it was held a day before her birthday last January 10, 2022. 

Hours before the party, Kryz says she's hoping for a girl although she believes it's going to be a boy. Either way, the soon-to-be mom of two just wants her firstborn Scottie to grow close with his baby sibling.

"I'm still hoping it's a girl. If it's not, it's still okay because I want Scottie to have a sibling na close sila so, feeling ko kung brother mas magiging close sila, so okay lang din ako kung boy," Kryz shared.

For his part, Slater thought it's gonna be a girl. Meanwhile, Scottie is undecided whether he wants to have a baby sister or a baby brother.

Gender reveal party preparations

Kryz entitled her vlog, 'Most Unique Gender Reveal ever!' And we are convinced that it is. Who knew sumo wrestling and gender reveal parties can go hand in hand?

It was Kryz's creative sister, Jacklyn Uy, who was the mastermind behind the one of the kind gender reveal party. The vlog showed some of the behind-the-scenes from the preparations last December when the party was initially planned but postponed due to Typhoon Odette.

The idea was two sumo wrestlers, one boy and one girl will face each other in a match.

Whoever wins determines the gender of the baby. The theme was well-executed complete with the costumes, the improvised ring, and most importantly the all-out performance from the "sumo wrestlers"!

Kryz and Slater's reactions

When asked for his thoughts about having another baby boy, Slater answered, "Magulo na sa bahay kasi marami nang lalaki." Kryz bantered with an old wives' tale about how "baby number two is opposite of baby number one."

She adds, "and baby number 1 is a good kid so, ano na lang kaya 'yung baby no. 2?" 

"Very good kid," Slater exclaimed!

Kryz was so elated with how the gender reveal party turned out. In the description part of the video, the expecting mom opened up about initially feeling opposed to having a celebration.
"I wasn’t really in the mood to celebrate or have a big party because of the covid climate and all the weird things happening around us," she laments.

She went on saying, "When I told my family that we would probably just be doing a simple balloon pop or cake cutting, Jack/Deedoe, my sister, totally panicked and said NO WAY!"

In the end, Kryz expressed her gratitude for her family's effort in uplifting their mood. "This has to be one of the most unique, funny, and surprising gender reveal surprises ever!" she wrote.
