The newlyweds' seven-minute wedding video by Bob Nicolas perfectly captures the overwhelming love from Kylie and Aljur's family and friends. There were touching family moments of Aljur and Kylie spending time with their son Alas, their parents and siblings, and the wedding entourage before they met at the altar to say their vows.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

"Ang paborito kong alaalang binabalik-balikan ay noong nagkita tayo. Tumakbo ka papunta sa akin at ako ay iyong hinagkan. Niyapos mo ako at iyong inangkin," Aljur said in his vows. "Buong buhay ko man, hindi ko ninais o naisip na ikasal. Ngunit nagbago ito nung nakilala kita," he told an already teary-eyed Kylie.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The bride couldn't help but let the tears of joy flow as she said her vows. "Our love is so strong that it brought our families and friends together. I can’t express how thankful I am to have this gift of your love in my hands," Kylie said. "Ginamot niyo ni Alas ang lungkot sa puso ko. Alagaan natin. Aalagaan kita," she added.
Kylie's mom Liezl Sicangco, her Tita Mariel Padilla, her big sister Queenie Padilla, and her friends were all caught on camera wiping tears of joy from their eyes. It's no secret that Aljur and Kylie's road to forever started out to be challenging.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Kylie's pregnancy was an unexpected but pleasant surprise, and the actress' dad Robin Padilla was very vocal about his wish for the two to marry right away. But Kylie stood her ground. While she was in constant communication with both her parents during her pregnancy, Aljur had to wait for the right moment.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The couple welcomed their son, Alas Joaquin, in August 2017, and since then have worked towards getting their families together. Aljur finally met Robin early last year when he formally asked Kylie's hand for marriage.
"Pa, Ma" Aljur said, referring to Robin and Liezl, "Maraming, maraming salamat sa tiwala, sa pag-iintindi at pagmamahal na ibinigay niyo po sa akin. Alam ko po na hindi naging madali 'yung journey natin. Ganun pa man, binuksan niyo pa rin po 'yung pintuan para sa akin."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
The groom also posted a message of gratitude to his in-laws for welcoming him to the family. "For always fighting what's best for us that pushed me to be a better man for your own daughter, I feel blessed and grateful to have you as my in-laws," he wrote. "I am always in favor of your wisdom, kindness, and understanding. I am eager to get to know you more, serve you more, and learn from you," Aljur added.
Aljur and Kylie's wedding is memorable, not only because it was the day of their formal union as husband and wife, but also because it saw the fulfillment of Kylie's dream to have her whole family together again and bear witness as she married the love of her life.
