Kylie Padilla Stopped Nursing Alas After She Found Out She Was PregnantWhether Kylie Padilla weaned Alas from nursing or the little tot naturally did, breastfeeding for nearly two years is a great accomplishment.by Rachel Perez .
Preggo mom Kylie Padilla joined many other nursing moms in celebrating August as Breastfeeding Awareness Month despite having to stop breastfeeding her son, Alas, who just turned 2. On Instagram yesterday, August 6, 2019, she shared how breastfeeding her son helped shape her motherhood journey.
“We officially ended our breastfeeding journey a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant,” Kylie revealed. “Breastfeeding was the most intimate thing I have ever experienced in my life. I was the one who didn’t want to quit after he turned one,” she said, adding that the eye contact with her baby while nursing is what she loved the most about breastfeeding.
“Happy breastfeeding month all the padede moms out there,” the actress wrote. “And for those moms who really struggled [with breastfeeding], what is most important is that your baby is getting the nutrients he/she needs, however way is best for you,” Kylie added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Breastfeeding is not an easy commitment (the nursing struggles are real!), and moms who were able to nurse their babies for more extended periods take pride in accomplishing such feat.
