Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica, who had been engaged three times finally said their vows in front of God, their families and friends yesterday, December 11, 2018. It took everyone by surprise, and Aljur revealed in his speech during the reception that he and his now-wife green-lit the event two weeks before the big day.
It was an emotional affair. Kylie finally married the man she loves and the father of her 1-year-old child, Alas Joaquin, and her parents and siblings were in full attendance, an answered prayer and a dream come true for the actress.
Her parents, Robin Padilla and Liezl Sicango, were the ones who walked her down the aisle. Older sister Queenie Padilla was her matron of honor, while younger sister Zherileen Padilla was her maid of honor. And Kylie's only brother Ali Padilla was also present.
Robin's wife Mariel Padilla, whom Kylie relied on for support during her pregnancy and the first few months of motherhood was there along with her daughter, Kylie's youngest sister Maria Isabella Padilla, who served as flower girl. The only member missing from the wedding was Kylie's half-sister, Camille Garcia, Robin's daughter with Leah Orosa, who is based in the U.S. Liezl, Zherileen, and Ali all reside in Australia, while Queenie now lives in Pakistan with her husband and daughter.
