Let This 4-year-old Fashionista Inspire Your Everyday Style
You’ll wish you have her clothes in your size, too!
At four years old, you’d think a little girl would just be dabbling into her mom’s kikay kit. Nothing serious though, right? Just a child exploring the world like any other child, not really knowing yet what she really wants to be when she grows up. Well, not this four-year-old.
Danielle, or Dani, is having a blast posing for #OOTDs that every one, fashion-forward or not, will admire. This little one has been doing fashion shoots so well that she's well on her way to becoming a model if she continues on this path.
Look how she effortlessly pulls off these style-magazine-worthy looks:
Mom Krystine "Tin" Lagman, who manages Dani's Instagram (@deardanielleph) reveals that her daughter particularly loves to wear boots and hats, and enjoys wearing dresses.
If you're wondering why the little girl seems to be a pro in front of the camera, that's because she is. Her mom started cataloguing her daughter’s #OOTDs when Dani was around two years old. Tin started playing dress-up with her tot using clothes she would buy from online sellers on Instagram and some DIY clothes for moms and kids that she had worked on.

Most of the time, I dress her with ripped jeans and statement tees, so I started making our own statement tees. Many Instagram mommas asked about them, so I decided to start selling a few,” she says.

Tin and her husband Bencho design most of the Dear Danielle Project tees. They have baby-and-me and mother-and-daughter tees for parents and kids who love to go out in matching outfits. “We have family tees, too,” says the Manila-based mom. If you're interested to see their designs, check out Dear Danielle Project's Instagram @deardanielleproject and visit bazaars that they'll be participating in.
This kid's wardrobe is so stylish that we bet many moms would love to know if there's any secret to raising a fashionista. Tin only says that kids must love what they do, and stresses how important it is to give her child a choice: “While Dani's still young, I’m enjoying this time that I can still choose [clothes] for her and dress her up. I know that one day, she'll make her own choices. In fact, she's already starting to do that, and I just let her,” she explains that if Dani wants to wear a Spider-man tee or costume, it's fine with her. “That way, I get to know more about my child. I want to make her feel that she's welcome to explore and make small choices of her own,” she says.
