LJ Moreno, Jimmy Alapag Departs The Philippines With Family For New Life In The U.S.It looks like they are leaving the country for good.by Kitty Elicay .
After rumors that LJ Moreno and Jimmy Alapag were contemplating a move to the U.S. amid the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s been confirmed that the Alapag family has left the country to start anew in the United States.
Charlie Dy, the long-time representative of Jimmy, confirmed their departure to Spin.ph in a text message Tuesday, September 15. “Yes, they’re waiting to board for L.A. (Los Angeles),” he said.
The couple made no mention of the move on their social media accounts. But on her Instagram stories, LJ reposted a video taken by her brother, Rob Ricafort, where she can be seen entering the Ninoy Aquino International Airport with Jimmy and their children, Ian, Keona, and Calen.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
“Bye ate! Love you guys!” Rob said in the video.
Jimmy could have also been alluding to their decision to leave the Philippines when he shared photos of his water baptism on Instagram.
“The last 6 months have given me, like so many, time to reflect upon my life. This time has given me an opportunity to find ways to be better; a better husband, father, mentor, coach, and leader. But most importantly, growing in my Faith and walk with God,” he wrote.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Jimmy, who is a native of San Bernardino in California, adds, “My walk has just begun, but I have absolute trust and faith in His plans for my family and I. Excited for this new season and new chapter of our life. In these uncertain times, keep the faith. God’s got us.”ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
“Today is a sad day. My best friend @keonaskyealapag is leaving to go back to LA for good,” she wrote as caption to a photo of her and LJ’s daughter, Keona.
She adds, “I’m going to miss you my classmate, dancemate, and gigglemate. Take care, ok, and let’s keep our promise to each other that we will always pray for each other. I love you!”
The family’s departure comes barely a week after LJ revealed that she suffered a miscarriage. She was six weeks into her pregnancy when they lost their baby’s heartbeat. It was also because of the pregnancy loss that LJ found out she had “antibodies,” possibly referring to Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS).
