LOOK: Divine Lee is Back Into Her Pre-pregnancy Clothes Just A Week After Giving BirthFor starters, Divine Lee didn't gain a lot of weight when she was still pregnant.by Rachel Perez .
Nine days have passed since model and mompreneur Divine Lee Go gave birth via C-section to her second child, daughter Blanca Dietrich Go, on October 1, 2019. To mark a week of recovering from childbirth, the new mom shared a snapshot of her postpartum body.
"One week postpartum," Divine wrote as a caption for a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories yesterday, October 8, 2019. The first thing anyone would notice is that she doesn't look like she had just given birth, except for the linea negra that still visible on her tummy.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
Divine can also already fit into her pre-pregnancy clothes. She comfortably wore a maroon short-sleeve cropped top and high-waisted square pants for her postpartum checkup today, October 10, 2019.
The mom of two revealed she gained only 22 to 23 pounds when she was pregnant. Five days after giving birth, Divine weighed herself and found out she only had 14 more pounds of pregnancy weight to lose. With her doctor's permission, she plans to start working out in a month.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Until then, Divine is relying on just two things for her post-pregnancy weight-loss: breastfeeding her daughter, and a binder.
After giving birth, a new mom's uterus contracts to return to its original pre-pregnant size. Breastfeeding helps the uterus contract and shrink faster. (Click here for more benefits of breastfeeding.)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Like many celebrity moms, Divine uses Urban Essential's Wink binder. She has used it previously, after she gave birth to son Baz, and wore it right after the surgery. A postpartum binder is a must-have after-birth recovery essential, whether one gave birth vaginally or via CS. (Find out more about postpartum binders here.)ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Divine had an emergency C-section this time around since Blanca arrived earlier than her scheduled due date. Still, she was discharged from the hospital just a day after — just as when she gave birth to Baz. The mom of two says she owes it to her doctors, her high pain tolerance, and wanting to go home to her son as soon as possible.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
