LOOK: Jolina Magdangal Posts First Pic of Daughter Vika Anaya! The baby's unique name means "source of life".by Rachel Perez .
After giving birth via scheduled C-section last May 28, TV host-actress Jolina Magdangal is letting her followers get a first look of her daughter Vika Anaya, with a photo she posted on Instagram.
"Meet our Vika Anaya," Jolina captioned her daughter's photo. "Mukha siyang naka maputing foundation pero totoong maputi sya!" the new mom of two quipped. "At parang naka-lipstick. At mas may buhok sya kesa kay Pele nung bagong panganak. Excited ako ng ayusan sya," she added.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Jolina's husband, Mark Escueta, also posted baby Vika's photo on his Instagram. "Our Princess has arrived," he wrote as a caption. "Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. Jolina is recovering well. Thank you Lord for another miracle," he added.
Baby Vika's second photo was of her sleeping soundly while getting her daily dose of sunshine or vitamin D. The new mom of two was up at 6:30 a.m and shared that Vika's pediatrician advised them not to expose the baby to the sun for too long.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Dati pwede mo paarawan sa umaga ang baby ng matagal, pero ngayon daw sabi ng pedia namin, hindi na ina-advise matagal paarawan kasi manipis na ang ozone layer. Check nyo din sa pedia nyo momshies," Jolina shared.
Jolina's sister, Melanie Magadangal also posted a selfie with their mom Paulita Magdangal and baby Vika. "Thank you for all your prayers. Mommy and baby are doing okay," Melanie wrote.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Jolina also shared that her doctor said she's well, so she should be on a straight path to recovery. Thankfully, being diagnosed with gestational diabetes didn't seem to have any adverse effects on her labor and delivery or on Vika.
Though Jolina is not able to move around much yet, she already had a refreshing sponge bath and hair wash. "Kahit magang maga pa ako lalo na ang mata ko dahil wala pa ako masyadong tulog, di na ako nahiyang magpost ng picture dahil sobrang sarap ng feeling ng mapaliguan," she wrote. "Talagang naginhawahan ako."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Praying for a fast recovery for the new mom!
