Robin announced the news on his Instagram last November 17, 2019. It showed two photos, Mariel in the hospital bed and an umbilical cord, presumably Mariel's and her baby. No other details were given.
Robin's caption reads, "'A father is neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.' Today, Maria Gabriela De Padilla was born God is great! My wife had her dream fulfilled again Gabriela was delivered by natural birth Praise God."
Father and daughters are November babies. Baby Gabriela had arrived two days after Mariel and Robin's first daughter Isabella turned 3 years old last November 14. Robin will turn 50 on November 23.
Like the first time the TV host gave birth, Mariel flew to the U.S. early in September to await her due date with daughter Maria Isabella in tow.

Mariel's pregnancy journeys have not been easy. Before Isabella, the TV host suffered two miscarriages. She was treated like an APAS patient even though she tested negative for the autoimmune disorder. She had cysts in her ovaries, suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and has a history of gestational diabetes.
