Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa are now married. The couple, who have a seven-month-old son named Corky, made the announcement on September 19, 2021 via their respective Instagram accounts.
Mark and Nicole posted the same two photos, one taken inside a church and the other at the office of Quezon City mayor Joy Belmonte, plus a video of highlights from their wedding day.
"We tied the knot on Mama Mary's birthday," said Nicole in her caption, while Mark declared, "Got married." They have the details in their YouTube channel, Mark Nico Herras.
"It's September 8, it's Mama Mary's birthday," Nicole avers in the vlog, while walking side by side with Mark enroute to the mayor's office, just before 8 a.m. "Last minute ang pag-aayos ng lahat. Walang kahirap-hirap 'yung nangyari. Talagang gusto ni Mama Mary na ikasal tayo."
Following COVID-19 protocols, the couple and their handful of witnesses, including the bride's mother, wore face masks and maintained social distancing as the mayor, also wearing a face mask, officiated the wedding ceremony. Afterwards, Mark and Nicole were allowed to take off their masks to share their first kiss as husband and wife.

Later on, the newlyweds talk about their decision to get married. Nicole explains, "Kaya kami nagpa-civil wedding na with Mayor Belmonte and our ninongs and ninangs is we want to be legal na." Mark nods, "Legal na kaming mag-asawa talaga."
They explain that while the pandemic has prevented them from having the wedding that they really wanted, with all their family members and friends in attendance, they take the time now to prepare for their church wedding.
"We just don't know when," they laugh. "But it will really happen. May ring bearer na kami. This is all for Corky." Nicole adds, "We have to make things legal na," as Mark points out, "We really want to get married na talaga."
Mark and Nicole got engaged on June 5, 2020, or about a year after they confirmed their relationship. They were castmates in Bihag, the drama series that ran on GMA-7 from April to August 2019. Nicole gave birth to their son Corky on January 31, 2021 (read here).
