  • Nido holds bedtime stories activity for moms and kids

Moms and kids in the metro learned the importance of bedtime storytelling at the NIDO FORTIFIED Bedtime Story booth during the Nestle I Choose Wellness Expo.
  • Over  2,476  parents  and children visited the colorfully garbed Bedtime Story  Room to listen to the story entitled, Ang Mahiyaing Manok (The Shy Rooster) as told by storytellers Kuya Rich Rodriguez and Ate Posh Develos of Alitaptap Storytellers.
The story, published by Adarna House written by Rebecca Añonuevo and illustrated by Ruben de Jesus, teaches kids the importance of overcoming shyness and developing their self-confidence. Its main character is Onyok, a shy, young rooster who cannot crow as loud as the others.
Moms and children had a wonderful bonding time as they read the tale and imitated Onyok’s character with the help of the storytellers, who encouraged everyone to make bedtime storytelling a habit to enrich kids’ creativity and cognitive development.  Drinking a glass of milk before bedtime can also help strengthen their young bodies.
