Pancho Bacarro Celebrates 1st Birthday Mexican-style; Marian Gets A Surprise Baby Shower!

A week and a day after his official birth date, Pancho Bacarro celebrated his first year of life and love with a Mexican-themed birthday party. Mom Saab Magalona often called Pancho her burrito, which played a part in the party's theme.

"Thank you so much for celebrating Pancho’s first birthday with us!" the first-time mom wrote on Instagram. "Yes, it was a very intimate celebration, but it’s still such a huge milestone for our little burrito, so we wanted to celebrate with style!" she added. 

It was an intimate party set up in a home garden with a pool, and the whole venue was adorned with  with cacti, Mexican hats, maracas, piñatas, and a lot of colorful balloons and banderitas similar to the ones in the movie Coco. And, check out Pancho's piñata-themed birthday cake!

Dad Jim Bacarro played the guitar as everyone sang the "Happy birthday" song to Pancho, with everybody else playing the maracas as accompaniment. Saab shared that there was no program at all, and only offered activity corners for the kids of all ages.

There was a play area, a paint-your-own maracas kit, and a slime activity kit for the kids to bring home.  

The 26-year-old mom shared a candid photo and captioned it: "Jim and I patting each other on the back for throwing a successful first kiddie party. My definition of success: 'I’m just happy nobody fell in the pool,'" Saab quipped.

Jim noticed the shining moon during Pancho's party, and knew instantly that their departed daughter Luna, Pancho's twin, was looking on and was very much present in their celebrations as well ("Luna" is Latin for "moon). Happy birthday, Pancho! 

Pancho turned one year old on February 8, which is also the first death anniversary of Luna. To honor their daughter, Saab and Jim wrote and dedicated the song entitled "Luna," which their band Cheats released on that day.  

Marian Rivera gets a surprise baby shower from in-laws!

On Saturday, February 16, 2019, Marian Rivera was surprised with a baby shower thrown by her Dantes-Gonzalez family. It was held at Solaire Resort Manila. 

"Thank you to my sisters-in-law Trina, Vicki, and Aya, for your thoughtfulness and for making this occasion so much more beautiful and memorable for me," the soon-to-be mom of two wrote. "Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules for preparing this for me," Marian added. 

She also thanked her friends Mika and Tina for being a part of this surprise, and everyone who helped them pull off the baby shower. "Thank you for being as excited as we are in welcoming our baby boy," the preggo mom added.

Marian also thanked her husband Dingdong Dantes, whom she tagged as "pasimuno ng lahat."

"Last Saturday, I felt so loved. Maraming salamat sa inyo," she said.

During the program, Dingdong was so ecstatic and game to play baby shower games, while their firstborn Zia displayed her singing chops. 

Geoff Eigenmann and Maya are expecting a baby boy!

Actor Geoff Eigenmann and his partner Angeli Mae Flores, also known as Maya (of the singing group Blush), are pregnant for the second time! This time around, they're having a baby boy! On Friday, February 15, 2019, the couple shared the pregnancy announcement and gender-reveal video. 

"Geoff and I are overjoyed to finally share that our family is growing. Another lil’ babe is on its way!!!!!" Maya wrote on Instagram. She also thanked Tous le Jours for the cake, and Hit Arena, the venue where Geoff and Maya's gender-reveal and pregnancy announcement took place. 

The two are already parents to their beautiful one-year-old daughter Arabella Simone. "Awesome start to our day and it ain’t over yet," Geoff wrote on his Instagram. "Happy Valentine's, my love," he added. Congratulations!
