When TV host Pauleen Luna had to leave behind her daughter Tali to do a show in Dubai, she didn’t realize how long 4 days would feel like without her daughter. Being separated from her 2-year-old has made Pauleen reflect on the situation of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
“That look on my daughter’s face is priceless. Making up for lost time. I know it was only 4 days but it definitely felt longer than that,” she captioned a photo of herself and Tali taking a dip at their pool at home after their trip.

“No place like home. Thank you, Lord. (if not for work, we can never leave this bachuchi! So happy),” she wrote.
The couple had to be away for a few days to attend to work commitments for the noontime show Eat Bulaga, which they both co-host, thus Pauleen likened the situation to that of OFWs and their families.

“Salute to every OFW parent who sacrifices their time away from their children to work for their future. You are truly today’s heroes,” she wrote.
Just this month, Pauleen and husband Vic Sotto brought Tali to Saint Rita Orphanage so she could celebrate her 2nd birthday with the kids and nuns.
