Pauleen Luna On 34-Year Age Gap With Vic Sotto: 'I Honestly Do Not Feel The Gap'The mom of one says she and her husband are right for each other.
According to the actress TV-host, she was asked about it by News5 head and Usapang Real Life host Luchi Cruz-Valdes in the episode that aired last night, September 19. Both Pauleen and Vic were guests of the program.
In her post, Pauleen shared that she was not able to give a thorough answer when she was asked the question because she does not feel that there is a huge age gap — 34 years to be exact — between her and her husband.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOWCONTINUE READING BELOWRecommended Videos
On Instagram, the Chika Besh host wrote, “A few weeks ago, we were interviewed by Miss @luchicruzvaldes for her show. She asked me, ‘How do you deal with the age gap?’ I wasn’t able to give a good answer because I honestly do not feel the ‘gap’ that we have.”
After the taping, the mom of one contemplated on why other people thought their age gap was an issue. After all, she feels that she and her husband are just right for each other.
Pauleen even feels more love for her husband since Vic makes her feel like she has nothing to worry about married life. She explains, “That afternoon, I thought hard about that question and I came up with an answer, a real answer.
“My husband loves me very much and gives me a certain kind of confidence and security about our relationship but I think the thing I love most about him is the amount of respect he gives me. He respects my life decisions, he respects my room to grow and he respects me like an equal.”ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW

“I always felt validated”
Since the start of their relationship until they got married and had a child, Pauleen says that Vic has never raised his voice towards her. Respect is a huge part of their marriage and it is the reason why their relationship has always been easy and peaceful.
Pauleen adds, “Never did I hear my husband raise his voice and felt like I was younger and didn't matter. I always felt validated. I always feel important around him. Respect plays a big role in any relationship. I know deep in my heart that it's one of the main reasons why this relationship is so easy.”ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
In an exclusive interview with Pep.ph in January 2014, Pauleen also shared her thoughts on the age gap. That time, Vic was still her boyfriend.
Pauleen said, “You know, dito ko na-prove na age is just a number. Kasi pag swak ang personality niyo, if your personalities gel, wala yung numero.
“E, meron nga akong kaedad, kaso nga lang pinapatulan naman ako pag inaaway ko, so it won’t work. At the end of the day, it’s the personalities. Yun talaga ang importante, hindi naman yung edad.”
Pauleen and Vic got married in a Catholic wedding ceremony last January 30, 2016. They have one child, a daughter named Talitha Sotto, who is now 2 years old.
