Perfumer Joel Cruz is on his way to Russia in time for the birth of his twins by a surrogate. This is the third set of twins for the businessman, and while the kids were all conceived by in vitro fertilization, they are all from the same biological mother, a Russian national. Prince Sean and Princess Synne were born in September 2012, while Harry and Harvey were born in 2015. (abs-cbnnews.com)

The singer-actress seems to be showing a tiny baby bump in her recent Instagram photos, prompting her followers to ask if she is pregnant. Nikki, who was a video jock and a mainstay in ABS-CBN's variety show ASAP, married businessman BJ Albert in November 2015 and has since kept a quiet life away from the limelight. Actress Maricar de Mesa has piqued the curiosity of her Instagram followers the last few months after she posted several preggy photos, prompting them to ask who the father is, since Maricar has been separated from ex-husband Don Allado for years. The latest photo she uploaded seems to address that question. "Happy birthday to this soon-to-be daddy," she captioned a photo of her with a guy kissing her round belly. Pinoy scientists may have found a new way to stop dengue
A group of scientists from the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute are trying out a new way to stop the Aedes aegypti mosquitoes from spreading the dengue virus: prevent them from breeding. PNRI's Sterile Mosquito Project works by releasing radiation-treated mosquitoes to dengue-plagued areas to make them sterile. They are currently in the mass rearing, or breeding, stage. Entomologist Glenda Obra, who is spearheading the project, said they proposed a three-year time frame for the project. (gmanetwork.com)
