Pokwang confirms she's pregnant at 44!

“Maraming salamat sa mga natuwa sa aking pagbubuntis!” the comedienne said on Twitter yesterday. Pokwang, whose real name is Marietta Subong, confirmed to Pep.ph via direct message that she’s seven weeks pregnant with American boyfriend Lee O’Brien’s child. The 44-year-old said she's happy and excited and doesn’t care if her unborn baby is a boy or a girl. “Kahit anong gender basta malusog at normal na bata,” she added. 

Lee also went public about the pregnancy. He said they confirmed the pregnancy last Saturday, June 11. “She was super happy. I was supper happy, too. Sobrang masaya, I prayed for this,” Lee told ABS-CBN News via a phone interview. He added that the "Ang Probinsyano" actress is advised to take a full bed rest, and that her pregnancy is delicate because of her age. Pokwang had a miscarriage two years ago, so they're taking it one day at a time.

The two are set to welcome their first child together in February next year, and the expectant dad had already thought of a name, William (and a second name) if they’re having a boy.  “If it's a girl… we might name her after her mom, but we don't know." Pokwang is already a mom to daughter Mae from a previous relationship. On June 15, her close friend Ogie Diaz congratulated her via Facebook. "Ibibigay na yan ni Lord sa inyo ni Lee O'Brian. Claim it!" he wrote. 


James Yap and Michela Cazzola take Baby MJ to Italy

Ten-month-old MJ Yap is having a grand time in his second home in Urbino, Italy where his mom Michela was born. “Welcome to your second home my boy,” his father James Yap captioned a photo he posted on Instagram.

Based on the couple’s posts, Baby MJ seems to be enjoying strolling around the walled city and listening to the street music. James and Michela also posted photos of them experiencing the culture in Italy, especially the yummy, authentic Italian food. (gmanetwork.com)

Olaf's Frozen Adventure will premiere before the full-length movie Coco in November. The 21-minute short film follows Olaf as he embarks on a mission to find sisters Anna and Elsa. It will also feature original songs, just like the first short film set in Arendale, which was aired in 2015 with the live-action adaptation of Cinderella. PAGASA set to revise storm signal warnings

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is set to change the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals (TCWS). PAGASA Weather Division chief Dr. Esperanza Cayanan said they received feedback that their storm advisories, which include the storm signal, wind speeds, and other technical details, are disregarded by the public. Instead of the functional details, the proposed revision would focus on weather disturbances' effects on the population in key areas. “Anu-ano yung maapektuhan - power, kunwari mga closing of roads tsaka due to damaged bridges - 'yun ang ilalagay namin doon," Cayanan said. “Dad guilt” is felt by more fathers than previously thought
An online survey of over 1,200 dads found that “dad guilt” is real and it affects more fathers than previously thought. Like moms, one in four dads feels pressured to do a good job at parenting. They feel guilty about not being able to provide enough for the family’s needs as much as they want. As many as 19 percent of the dads surveyed feel guilty about not being present enough with their kids, while 17 percent think they spent time at work too much. On the brighter side, the results of the survey also confirmed that almost half of the dads do their share of childcare duties, splitting it with their partners. Yay for dads! (babble.com)
