Moms, This Video Is A Tribute To You. We Think. Okay, You Decide LOLRC Cola has a viral video, and it is not Christmas ad you expect.by SmartParenting Staff .
Families are featured prominently in television commercials made for the Christmas season. We usually know what to expect, but RC Cola has, er, redefined what it should be with its latest video content.
We do not even know if that is an accurate statement because we are seriously at a loss for words. The commercial is still about family (we think), but we have to warn you it's not what you expect AT ALL.
And, moms and dads, your kids genuinely love you. You will be all right. They are all right.
This was RC Colas's caption: "Hindi naman kailangan ng maraming dahilan! Basta nauhaw ang pamilya, RC Cola na ‘yan!"

Spot.ph says, "It's hard to explain what the commercial is about: think Maalaala Mo Kaya, suspense, and fever dream rolled into one." Amen.
But if you screamed after the boy took off his backpack, the hair on your arms didn't stop rising, and you have your hand in your mouth until the end, totally natural reactions.
As one netizen said who also tagged MTRCB, "Horror!"
Is it good or bad kind? We leave it to you to decide (share in the comments!). But after watching the ad and then diving into the comments (the only way to consume this), Filipinos are really among the most creative on earth, thanks to mom LOL.
Here are some of our favorite comments verbatim on RC Cola's Facebook page, which had more than 32,000 comments and counting. There were many emoticons and "W H A T." Yep, sounds like 2020.
Datu: "Inner me: The empty glasses represent the void and the emptiness the boy must be feeling after years of being deprived of the truth, thinking he was alone in his strangeness.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
"Meanwhile, the mother’s equally surprising revelation of her own strangeness, manifested as a bottle of RC Cola kept hidden beneath her head, is the panacea that will quench the child’s thirst for truth.
"In the end, they celebrate as a family, reveling in their peculiarities, the truth now out in the open, and the void finally filled."
Larry: "It's a metaphor about how motherhood demands so much of the mom that she literally pours herself out into her children draining her but at the same time fulfilling her true mission in life.
"Also san galing yung ice?"
Anj: "This had me thinking. Mother would fill emptiness of her child...someday when that child becomes successful, because of his mother's help...he will return then fulfill his obligation which is to help his family. FilipinoCulture."
Rolhen: "Lakas ng tama niyo but I love the message HAAHAHAHAH FOR ME it's not that literal na rc eme siya but parents are the ones na kumukumpleto, at sila yung taong tatanggap satin pag tinutukso na tayo ng mundo."ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Wasif: "Malupet..."Meaningful in a sense na ang ina ang magpupuno ng kakulangan ng kanyang anak, empty yung baso kasi di mo alam pagkatao mo at magulang lang makakapagpuno nun. Overall, it means sharing love and RC is refreshing."
