Rochelle Pangilinan Shows Consistency is Key to Getting Back Her Pre-Pregnant BodyThe former SexBomb dancer embraced her preggy weight and body, and now she's taking her time getting back in shape.by Rachel Perez .
Each pregnancy is different, as is every woman’s birth experience. It’s only logical to assume that a new mom’ s postpartum body is not a one-size-fits-all shape or size, but all of them should be celebrated. These women just had a baby—and ask any mom, it’s all worth it!
Four months after giving birth to her first child, actress and dancer Rochelle Pangilinan Solinap shared a before-and-after photo of her body transitioning through post-pregnancy. It shows a dramatic change in just three months from March to June.
“My postpartum body, walang makakaligtas, and I love it! Kasama’ yan sa napakadaming pagdadaanan bilang isang ina,” Rochelle wrote on Instagram. She revealed that after giving birth, she still looked like she was nine months pregnant.
“Aanhin ko ang sexy na pangangatawan kung wala naman si Shiloh,” added the new mom and former SexBomb dancer who gave birth to her daughter on February 24, 2019 via C-section.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Though Rochelle was absolutely accepting of her postpartum body, she's not losing hope. She had shared her breastfeeding journey, and her road to postnatal fitness starting with daily one-hour light exercises such as going on morning jogs after her doctor gave her the go-ahead to workout. When she’s working out, her husband, actor Arthur Solinap, looks after their daughter.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
“Kahit papaano ay maibabalik ko din ang dating weight — unti-unti, konting push, tiyaga at sipag na din,” the new mom said. “Napa-smile na lang ako ng makita sa salamin na medyo okay na pala, kaya tara na! Puuuuush!!” Rochelle added, obviously pleasantly surprised by the results of consistent exercising.
It’s normal for new moms to still look pregnant after weeks of giving birth, as the uterus heals and shrinks back to its pre-pregnant shape. The new mom’s postpartum body also needs time to flush out all the extra fluids that the body produced to help sustain a growing baby.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
Other pregnancy symptoms such as the linea nigra, or the dark vertical line on a preggo’s tummy, will also soon disappear in time. Getting back one’s pre-pregnant body, or as close to it as possible, takes time, and it’s different for every new mom.
Rochelle’s fellow celebrity moms, such as Iya Villania-Arellano, Diana Zubiri-Smith, Camille Prats-Yambao, and Isabel Oli-Prats dropped comments on her posts, admiring her efforts and lauding her success. Some reminded the new mom to take her time, but it seems like Rochelle isn’t in a rush to lose the pregnancy weight anyway.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
