In case you missed it, Ryza Cenon gave birth to her first child, son Night, with partner Miguel Antonio Cruz, at 5:09 am on October 31, 2020, at St Luke's Hospital.
"Napakahirap pero lahat worth it!" the new mama wrote on her birth announcement on Instagram on the same day she gave birth.
To say that giving birth is difficult may seem typical, as almost all births, whether giving birth vaginally or via Cesarean section, have their own challenges.
Ryza Cenon not only endured 13 hours of labor but also needed a vacuum extraction to successfully deliver her baby vaginally.
"Thirteen hours po ko nag-labor kasi two centimeters pa lang ako. Pagdating ng nine centimeters, dun na po ko nag-deliver," the first-time mama told Pep.ph.
Ryza added that it still took time, about an hour and 40 minutes, to give birth because she rests in between contractions.
"At saka masikip yung lalabasan ni baby Night kaya yung lahat ng push ko, ginamitan na ng vacuum," Ryza revealed.

Meeting Baby Night for the first time
While in labor, Ryza was still able to share motivational words on her Facebook page. She cheered herself to go for vaginal delivery.
"Push mo yan, girl!!" the 32-year-old actress wrote. Ryza reminded herself of the hospital bill because it's cheaper to give birth vaginally that undergo a C-section.
She even marked the moment she felt labor pains."Pero ok lang, kaya kong tiisin yung sakit. E, wala ganun talaga kung para sa taong mahal mo naman e," Ryza wrote.
Baby Night weighed 2.68 kilograms at birth with a length of 49 centimeters. Ryza was emotional when she saw her baby for the first time.
