Saab Magalona Appreciates Precious Moments With Their 'Miracle Boy'Doctors initially thought little Pancho wouldn't make it.by Rachel Perez .
Two months after she gave birth to twins, new mom Saab Magalona looked back at the ordeal her family went through by way of an Instagram post. In it, she recalled that when she was still in the immediate care unit (IMCU), the doctors encouraged her to visit her son, Pancho Gerardo, who was then staying in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) the night after she gave birth.
"I didn’t want to because I felt sick and I didn’t want him to catch anything just in case," Saab wrote. "The doctors said it was important that I see him, implying that it was to say goodbye. They said he was in critical condition. That he might not make it," she added.
Saab, husband Jim Bacarro, and little Pancho have come a long way since. On Sunday, April 8, the family celebrated their son's two-month milestone at home, since "graduating" from the NICU.ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW
