  • Scarlet Snow Belo is challenging fellow tots to do the #AkoAyPilipinoChallenge, or to recite the Panunumpa Sa Watawat Ng Pilipinas, in time for Buwan Ng Wika in August.

Clad in a Maria Clara outfit while holding a Philippine flag and a stuffed toy, the daughter of beauty doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho Jr. recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Philippine Flag in Filipino flawlessly. The video was posted on her Instagram account.

The caption reads, "One of the things my Daddy and Mommy always teach me is to love our very own country.

"We children are the hope of the future.

"So I would like to invite everyone, especially our leaders, to recite this with me from the heart: 'Ako ay Pilipino....'"

It was not Scarlet Snow's first Instagram post manifesting patriotism.

On May 29, the three-year-old kid already sang the country's national anthem "Lupang Hinirang."

Vicki told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview that her husband Hayden taught Scarlet to sing the national anthem in just one night.

The mom of three recalled, "We're proud because she was the leader of the song 'Lupang Hinirang.'

"Ambigat ng mga words, di ba, siya ang nag-lead ng kanta. Yung moving up ceremony niya, prinaktis siya ng daddy niya the night before.

"So the next day, confident na confident na siya, humingi pa siya ng mic. Siya daw magli-lead and alam naman niya lahat ng words."

Watch her rendition of the national anthem below.

Scarlet also donned a pink baro't saya during a private viewing event of the 2016 Miss Universe beauty pageant held in the Philippines in January 2017. She proudly wore the sash as she rooted for the Philippines' candidate, Maxine Medina.
