  • Scarlet Snow's Latest Discovery Makes Her Mom Go, 'Oh, No!'

Plus, meet the guy from the Manulife video, Camille Prats shows baby bump at the beach, and more!

  • Uh-oh! Scarlet has a new discovery

Dr. Vicki Belo and Scarlet Snow went through a rite of passage, if you will, that every mom with a daughter knows well. The 2-year-old has discovered her mom's lipstick (and it looks like the cheek stains as well!) and knew what to do with the tube. Of course, most moms would prefer to delay the time when their daughters discover makeup. As Dr. Belo wrote, "She definitely looks better without one." But you can't hide cosmetics forever especially when your daughter sees you doing it (and she is as curious as Scarlet). You can also choose to see it this way: it's certainly a unique bonding experience between a mom and a daughter. (For those wondering about the lipstick brand -- aminin! -- our friends at Pep.ph says it looks like Dubonnet from Clinique's Long Last Range.)

Manulife video guy is really a comedian!
We were all about Jollibee's latest KwentongJollibee video that went up yesterday (watch here). But we have to say insurance company Manulife stole a bit of its thunder when it came out with this video (it was funny and just made us go 'awww'):

Esquire got to interview the lead in the ad, and as it turned out, he is a stand-up comedian in real life. In fact, the story was based on some of his jokes that poked fun at him and his family, who are all professionals -- dad is a surgeon, just like in the video, kuya is a doctor, a brother is a lawyer, and his younger sister is a teaching while taking up Masters in Psychology. The roast joke at the end -- that was all him! Read the rest of the interview on Esquire

Mother's Day flowers by Marian Rivera

Apart from Valentine's Day, Mother's Day is when many people spend for lavish floral bouquets. But if you prefer something less conspicuous, you may want to check out Flora Vida, where the preserved blooms are arrangements by no less than Marian Rivera herself.

Instead of huge bouquets, Marian's floral arrangements almost have a minimalist theme, where the blooms are often in one color.

But others also come in delicate shades, which we find gorgeous. Since they are preserved flowers it will last for weeks after Mother's Day. Read more about it at Real Living.

HIV reported cases highest in March
We're glad UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador Pia Wurtzbach has taken on HIV as her cause (it has been one since she was crowned Miss Universe) because our country needs the help. According to GMA News, nearly 1,000 new HIV antibody seropositive individuals reported to the HIV/AIDS & ART Registry of the Philippines (HARP) in March 2017 -- that has been the highest number of cases reported since 1984.

Of the 968 individuals registered at HARP, 926 were male, and 59 were OFWs. The majority of the men fell in the age range of 25 to 34 (481) but at least 315 men fell in the 15 to 24 age range. Metro Manila has the majority of cases. All 27 of the reported deaths who were HIV-positive in March 2017 were men infected via sexual contact. (GMA News)

Fans of Camille Prats couldn't help but notice how the television host, her son, Nathan and her husband, VJ, look alike in the photo above.

The family took advantage of the vitamin sea, which served as a beautiful background for Camille's baby bump photo. She wore an off-shoulder one-piece swimsuit with a floral design. Nine years has passed since her first pregnancy, and Camille said it feels like the first time. "Parang sobrang tagal na... so ako talaga nanghihingi ng tips sa sister-in-law ko, kay Isabel, my other friends," Camille said.

Camille and family traveled with other members of the Prats' family including her brother, John and his wife Isabel Oli who were with their daughter, Lilly Feather.
